power outage!

Franks brain exploded ! The 142 ontrack punters said it was an ugly sight

There was a leisurly stroll to the exits, as the slots stood silent. There is a hush in south beach tonight, as the mighty gulfstream has struck out.

Sure Magna remembered to pay its electric bill?

Only for the slots !

Tote boards, ticket machines, and starting gates were only affected.

I expect this to be a regular occurance in future years, to get the people to shop in those new stores they're constructing surrounding the paddock. Of course, this is after you pay your obligatory $30. for the ontrack buffet.

Lets see, race , shop , eat ! or was that shop, eat, race ??

It gets so confusing

Luckily, Karl has already made his daily $400, and had gone home early.

Let's be honest here.....isn't that all that matters?

And I had these live P4 tickets left into races 8 & 9:

$1 357/78
$.50 128/78
$.50 357/124

They ended up paying All/All on the last two races to settle the P4. Came out to about $57 per. The bad news is it came off a 2/1 and 36/1.

Actually the pick-4 conso paid $231.80 for a $2 bet which was about $2.60 below the parlay.

Yeah, it ended up being about $1,560 total, but I was hoping to be in line for a big pay.

It's probably hard after just a two race dispersal especially when you consider the difference in take-out though even that should be more than mitigated after even two legs.

It looks like you had good coverage in the 8th. The 9th looked impossible to me.

Yeah, I bet $443 and got $1,564 back, but I had the 36/1 as a B horse so I was in good shape. It's not many times a year I'm alive to needing only one A and one B in the last two after a 36/1 shot.

It's hard to be too disappointed when you win but it looks like you had a good shot to make a nice score.
