Charlie's (Cella ) son is in charge of things so we hear. The last time we saw
Mr C .. was at theeee final great party in St Louis. Charlie rented city Blocks and put up all kinds of things for the Super Bowl Party. The Rams did win it .. seems like ages and eons ago.
Because of Charlie ..there was Smarty .. Smarty Jones. You all know the
story so i wont waste band width. :lol: :bang:

That is good news. Thanks for the update. After we all graduated from
college .. Charlie stepped into a whole new world :lol: Last time I saw him
was at his Famous Super Bowl Party in downtown St Loo. We dine at his
daughter's restaurant every now and then. It is too expensive for us (mere
mortals) to go very often :lol: :jump: :bang:

Oh .. he owns a horse named Codasco .. named of course for ...
Country Day School in the posh western suburbs. Exactly 7 minutes from

[/B]Charles Cella took over the reins of Oaklawn, when his father passed away. So now the new young Mr Cella takes over and establishes his mark on the Industry. While his father Charles Cella is known for eccentric behaviour, he was years ahead of some of his contemporaries. Oaklawn has been blessed with good management and leadership during the Industries hard times.

Now, during the age of the Casino, lots of cash and 100+ years of Thoroughbred Racing History, I look for a Greater future for Oaklawn.

I have to admit, there were times I thought Charlie was completely NUTS. But, in the end, I was the one with the lack of vision.
