Ever Since I picked Sarava to win( but was unable to bet him),I have been on the watch for horses fitting the angle.Don't get too many plays, but now I'm using stable mail for around 10 tracks around the country.I was alerted to 2 today.

Pha 5th Marc Road(4-1) M.L.
Gulf 9th Strizzi (6-1) M.L.

What's the angle? Steps up off a win?

SARAVA

Marc road ran 2nd @7-2.Strizzi got bet down to favorite and got a questionable trip by Guidry.I'll play that horse right back next time.

The angle consists of 3 qualifying factors.Moving up in class off a win is one of them.Secondly the margin of victory must be at least 2-1/2 to 3 lenghts minimum.2-1/2 is acceptable under certain conditions, which I won't go into because that would lead to the 3rd factor.
Then there are questionable contenders who may have taken a vacation off this type of win or just broke their maiden this way,or are switching surface, distance, jock or trainer..I pick the qualifiers from the equibase result charts.I don't care to handicap when they run or I'll probably not bet them.

Gray falcon ran 4th
Ragin Blade won.Paid $8.40
After 4 plays,you would've been up 40 cents.Comes to a 5% R.O.I..per play.Where can you get that today?See I told you this thing can make money(LOL)Think I'll quit while I'm ahead as Karlsnomer would say.(LOL)

Heck yes my man... Picking for 5% before the races sure does beat picking for 50% after the races. Keep it up.
