Hey, everyone have fun with tomorrow night's race from Delta Downs. I live about 2-1/2 hours from there. It is quirky track, but 5 furlong race is all out dash from chute. Starter allowance for older Louisiana breds will either run very formful or present total chaos! Problem is determining which one Race 2 is Wednesday evening.

Weather may play factor as well. Rain begins tonight and continues through day/evening tomorrow which may favor early speed on fast, sloppy or muddy surface.

Delta Down has free live streaming on its web site. Don Stevens, track announcer/TV host, is both informative and entertaining. I am going to wait for scratches and check track condition before making my selections.

Thanks for the links Bob. I think The Don Stevens Show is one of the best. Right up there with Mark and Nancy's Mountain-eer climbing lessons. Boyd looks to be doing a good job with the racing side of their casino.

I finally won his contest late last season. I'll be tuning in to Delta for some
play in the next week or two. I look forward to catching his show again.

I like Boyd's attitude of give them the races so they will bet on them more oftem !! A novel idea that's worth supporting. I hope the Indiana racinos will follow this lead with their new facilities. I am almost excited about going back to a freshly remodeled, $100 Million Hoosier Park!! Less than 10 weeks now.
