Then how often does that horse win.#4 just won a FG at 2-5 but the 2 gave him a heck of a run to the wire.

Hard to bet based on speed figures. Even a 15 pt difference in last race.
What was your opinion of Catoctin Creek's last race? Was it that much better? What odds do you want? Is 2/5 worth taking?

2-5 is not worth taking but worth betting against but sometimes you have to cry uncle. So ia am trying to find out when 2-5 is really 2-5 .I boxed the 2-5-8 hoping for the 4 to run out.I definitly should have played the triple as a saver.

I have always followed the great Pete Axthelm's adage.....'If you have the 5 you do not need the 2'.
