*CONTEST WILL BE EXTENDED TWO ADDITIONAL DAYS*

1. Friday will be a bonus day with a bankroll of $30. Additionally, players may play any make-up dollars they have available to them.

2. Saturday will be a DOUBLE BONUS BIG FINALE with each player receiving an additional $60 wagering bankroll to be use ONLY ON SATURDAY RACES and may be wagered on any race(s), any track(s)!

3. Any accrued make-up monies available to players may also be played on any race at any track on Saturday. Make-up $'s will not be awarded for the Saturday races. Any unused make-up dollars at the conclusion of Saturday racing will be forfeited.

I believe it was Doyle Brunson that said, "To get your hands on the really sweet fruit, sometimes you have to go out on a limb," and it is hard to argue the success of Texas Dolly.

Today's play is to bet $30 to WIN on the 1 SWIFT WINDS (12-1).

A patient ride by Delgadillo will give this Garcia gelding a decent opportunity at a nice price. There are plenty of positives here, as SWIFT WINDS is turning back in distance in his 3rd out off a layoff, a move that Juan Garcia is 33% with (3-9) and a positive ROI. He is also 33% on the SA turf and has won more purse money at the oval than any horse in the field, the caveat being both wins were sprinting down the hill. His form is clouded, but his efforts have all been solid.

This 12-1 shot is a definite contender, but it will take a perfect trip for him to win. If Delgadillo holds the rail (at 24 feet) in a forward position, and steals an inside trip, this will be his best opportunity of winning. :cool:

As Hajck mentioned, I believe Rookie intends for this to be a $5 Tri, so unless I get any clarification to the contrary, that is how I will score it.

There are 6 trifecta combinations here, so the max bet on a $30 budget would be a $5 Tri.

As RyeSteve pointed out these are a little "overbudget". A 4 horse tri box has 24 combinations so in AQU R7 we will chop that $2 tri down to $1 and we will be OK.

In R9 it gets a little dicier as it is already a $1 tri and it is overbudget. Since there is no wager denomination available in this race for this wager less than $1, I think we just have to refund this play unless SUFAN can fix for us.

Thanks for pointing these out guys, as it gives others a chance to correct and it helps to ensure I don't miss it for scoring purposes.
