Double Trouble at the Big A

Help me hit the Double at the big A tomorrow. I love the first race but I would also like to hit the double. I need to win tomorrow, so a clever horse would be cool. TLG ?

Race 1 A short race and contested early foot.
I'm looking at: # 4 Show of Colors and # 6 Belz.

Race 2 #2 Beequeone packs light. The best closer but possibly too far back.
#7 Phil Cat is a Contessa runner and has to be considered.
#5 Senora Roberta plunges in class for a barn that's been scoring.

Here are my 3 choices in thie 2nd race.

#6 Jule City -- FTS not much to beat 5-1 ml

#2 Beequeone -- Will get the extra distance 10-1 ml

#5 Senora Roberta -- cheap speed will have to run better today to stay 6-1 ml

I was curious who you might be keying in the 1st so I capped that race as well. Boy you don't make it easy for yourself as I sense you need a quick hit so you have $$ to play with. Anyways there are 4 horses in the 1st that wouldn't surprise, from a value standpoint they are.

#8 Trickanometry -- will be competitive here and the race may setup if the track plays fair or to the slow side.

#7 Smokin Warrior -- the speed of the speed but the trainer is removing blinkers today. Could be he's undoing.

#4 Show of Colors -- wins on the pace and if the #7 doesn't get out of the gate the 1/2 furlong less fits.

#6 Belz -- 5/2 ml favorite might be the ticket but if everything goes his way. By no means does this horse dominate on paper.

My play might look something like this before scratches.

DD 8/6-2 & 4/6-2

I would have liked to have narrowed my bet down to 2 picks per race so that the DD bet would only be $4, but I just couldn't decide.

I was a bit sloppy but I got away with it this time.
