This is a ringing endorsement for what will be the inevitable end of the game as we know it.

The sport needs a commissioner (akin to the NFL, NBA, MLB) that will HAVE THE AUTHORITY to standardize rules nationally and start a national drug policy WITH TEETH.

Without it, I am going to have to suffer through more and more breakdowns of unfit, over-worked animals.

Having spent an entire season on the gate with the track vet, there is a lot of work to do.
