First off, I don't think Olberman is mentally unstable. Can you substantiate your claim?
Secondly, Fox News (or as I call them, Faux News) doesn't overtly present a "support W or get out" position, however, they heavily support the actions of the current administration (obviously). During the early stages of the current debacle in Iraq, one of the Dixie Chicks voiced distain that GWB was from her home state. The anti-Dixie Chicks (record smashing) was fueled by commentaries on Fox News. Also, noticably absent during the Republican Convention in NYC in 2003, Fox had total support for confining citizens with opposing views to "cattle pens" under the West Side highway...so much for "Freedom of Assembly" and "Freedom of Speech". Insofar that Fox News presents itself as championing American ideals, it seems to me that there is serious lack in that area, and even more, that its blatantly biased "news" in support of Republican agendas evidences that it nothing more than a propaganda tool, evoking memories of Goebels.
That some would continue to defend this media outlet demonstrates their effectiveness.
