The speed of the speed and class of the race is #3 Graynumberfive @ 12-1. There is no question that this one wants the lead and will get the lead. I do not see another true speed in the race. The other thing I like about this horse is his back class. If you go back and look at the last win on every horses PP you will see the class edge that Graynumberfive has over this field. He won a N1X open allowance in NY, something that no other horse can boast about. He also won in March somewhat close to the 03July cutoff for this condition. This guy a legit play at anything close to 12-1.

Currently at 2-1... ouch!Glad he took so much money, was able to back off the bet a bit. The horse is surely done. He had everything his way, dropping to the bottom, getting to set a 24 second first 1/4, yet he still folded like an accordion.

Well, he was in a speed duel and he didn't have the prized Aqueduct rail, so he had some obstacles to overcome. Of course the other dueler (who did have that rail) won.
