MPH variants

I am playing around with MPH (old bris edition) and it appears that I can change the variant for the selected paceline. Is that true? If so, I can't figure out how? Since I make my own daily variants, it might be useful.

On my version, you have the option of using Beyer or the BRIS download, or manual. Under manual, you can enter a variant in the form of 1 point = .15, or .08, or something along those lines. I'll check it out tonight. If you use the BRIS download module, you cannot change anything. You must set it up before doing a race.
