View Full Version : 2008 New Year's Special

Premier Turf Club
12-31-2007, 09:09 PM
To celebrate our first year in business, we'd like to give something back to all those who have supported us on the board in 2007.

During the month of January we are reducing our minimum opening deposit to $100, and our minimum add-on deposit to $50. On top of that, we will award each new account a $50 wagering credit after they've bet their first $250. That's in addition to the cash rewards that each and every one of our players receives on every wager.

We've also extended our data reimbursement program for 2008. Wager $3,000 a month, and we'll give you a $99 credit for the monthly data subscription for a growing number of software programs including Handicapping OS, HTR, and Netcapper.

Wishing everyone on the board a happy, healthy, prosperous 2008.

Ian

Ian: Happy New Year to you and yours and everyone at Premier Turf Club! This promotion should come as no surprise to members on the board, as PTC has demonstrated time and again in their year in the business that they truly are committed to their company mantra: "Designed by Players for Players". I know that you will be adding many more tracks in 2008 (if only by sheer determination) and I wish you continued success!

I just have no clue why anyone would not open an account at PTC especially if you play at even one of tracks that PTC offers. Why would you turn down a rebate? Remember, the folks at TrackNet are assuming that you are too stupid to want one, and that you don't deserve a rebate. Perhaps you are too stupid? Perhaps you really don't deserve a rebate?

Ian, you should post a list of the tracks that PTC now accepts. PTC has nearly every nighttime track, and almost every harness track.

If we don't support PTC, then TrackNet will become right, and we'll never see a plays benefit again, including the YouBet ashtrays.

Very nice Ian, and the company.
I still need more of my tracks.
But this is very tempting, you may here from me shortly. I was waiting, and hoping, things may have changed for the better by now. It actual looks worse. I do have decisions to make, but would hate to pack up and move over, and then things get rosey? Am I a fool. Think not. You will more than likely hear from me this month. If not for me, I can always saddle up DaddyWarbucks

Happy new year to you, and the gang there!

Here is a current track list. We're adding new signals every month, slowly filling in the holes. Please keep in mind, we have only been open for business for 9 months and no one had been stupid (brave?) enough to build their own internet platform from scratch and go head-to-head with the big boys in many years.

Again, I thank all of our clients, as well as the people on this board for their support in 2007 and look forward to providing much more in the way of technology and content in 2008.

Charlestown and Penn :jump:

I have a spot play for Penn that with a tiny rebate will insure my old age.

I am happy that you will be able to churn your extra rebate money and keep your bankroll alive for longer than all of the chumps that won't be playing PEN and CT with a rebate.

Its just amazing what a few extra percent will do for your bankroll.

Rich:

I agree with you 100 %. The generous cash rebates offered at PTC really add up over time, and make a huge difference in your bottom line. I prefer just making straight bets, so the great majority of these bets go through PTC. The enlightened management at PTC understand the universal law...i.e. 'GIVE AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE'.

The minor part of my straight bets only go through an onshore Ebeneezer Scrooge ADW, because PTC doesn't currently carry certain tracks. As for the 'reward points' I'm missing out on by not betting more at tightwad onshore ADWS...I'm not concerned....I'd rather have the cash rebates offered by PTC.

May your New Year bring you from NJ more ADW options than NJBets!!

I just want to extend my congratulations as well to Ian and Co (including Jimmy McCoy & the programming gang) for the fine resource they're developing! And also to say thanks as well for extending the monthly data credit to RDSS users.

The list of Thoroughbred tracks is looking better and better (how much better can you get than PEN, MNR, ZIA...!)

Funny, when I talked to the general manager of Hastings in August/September, the simulcast director and the mutuels manager, thew were dead set against being an included member. Did that somehow magically change?

I was given the understanding that the federal parimutuel agency would be giving you guys a visit if you progressed without their permission. It has happened to other entities and all have been closed down.

When I asked about wagering with PTC from a Canadian site, these guys just about hit the roof yet, your source said it was fine. What goes here????

I know "R" the regulator mentioned it to me too. He is straight out of Ottawa and looks out for this sort of thing on a daily basis.

I would watch what was advertised knowing what damage these people could do if one was on the wrong side of them. I remain confused.

The track list needs to be changed; it's a typo. We dropped Hastings last year (July or August I recall) when we told them we had Canadian customers and weren't sure they would permit that. We would never link a track without a contract.

I will ask PA to update the list. I thought I had updated it already.

I would keep a lawyer on retainer and fast. The mere mention of siphoning off Canadian based wagers to (what you would qualify as "off shore") off shore sources is a serious serious bone of contention with these people. TWO federal regulators asked me questions about it directly over the summer. The simulcast director is livid about it and vowed to do something.....I did not get the idea that was an idle threat since he views it as part of his livelihood being made from what he called a "stolen image." He made specific mention of how the simulcast here from patrons in Northern Washington had to be given up when the NYRA investigated. "It works both ways!" was what he said to me.

I would be very careful as these guys have the law on their side, they feel that racing is being threatened and have the mechanisms to go about making things very difficult for you.

Uh, the last I heard was that PTC was located in the United States, and no matter how many activist judges, tree-huggers or socialists love Canada, Canadian businesses or government agencies have no jurisdiction in the US unless they petition a US court. They need the luck, not PTC.

You weren't two feet away from several people yelling at the top of their lungs about it either.

THEY are going to do what THEY are going to do. Just a head's up that it was considered a serious problem by all to whom I spoke.
