At first glance and pending weather conditions and scratches, I like the look of #5 La Nina Fria in the Philly 5th--trained by the very talented Mr. JohnWeatherford and Davey Cohn won't hurt---ml is 6-1 but she ought to go off at say, 10-12 to 1 since there are some local faves chalkers in this race. I can't find an exotic which makes any sense!

There is a dream card at Aqueduct today. Normally, I am able to toss 5 Aqueduct races in about 5 minutes....I been working these for 36 hours and I finally managed to scrap two races. That's a mixt blessing, so many races in play, so many valid contenders. In other words, what thoroughbred horseracing is supposed to be about and so seldom is! Important to note that the Big A's well-defined speed bias has now been augmented by an indisputable inner post bias.

IMHO, your results statement for each race ought to reflect the impact of your picks on "our" wallet. In this example- (The $2 Tri ticket cost $54. The $2 super ticket cost $ 108.) "We lost $115 on the race or we lost $7 on the trifecta and $108 on the super."

In the long run, it might be better just to post picks and plays without specifying a wagering amount. Your result statement becomes "we hit" or "we missed." Alternatively, just post the order of finish.

sure, collected a yukky $50.80 on the race--better than zip---but that WAS NOT the bet
the bet of course was beating the 7 and landing the 6 (5-1) leg 2 then piling on the 4 (13-1) 3 (27-1) 8 (19-1) wed be looking at a $600 tri and an $1800 super. It was an "arbitrage" bet, counter the chalk--three possible outcomes:
lose=zero
chalk=peanuts
the juicies= plenty.
