i should have been more clear ,i was trying to indicate that a front runner did not win ,unlike the day before when the track appeared to be favoring speed.
in the first race the horse#4 who was 4th at first call won ,the horse who was 5th first call ran 2nd.

I count lengths back more than position; i'm on the lookout for cards where horses 6+ lengths back during races won several at a rubber track.
I bet good turfer who won at 23-1 at So Cal at $16k next race after finishing 4th, 1 length back at $40k.
