MY NEW ANGLE, BLAH, BALH, BLAH

I've been trying out an angle for the past couple of weeks. So far, so well. I thought I might share some picks here and see if the luck stays with me.



My game is to make a "Place" wager. I like to stay with morning odds of 3 to 1 or better but that narrows the picks down sometimes so I have some lower ones listed. I make all my wagers around noon and hope the odds don't drop off to bad. I stay away from messy tracks so you'll see the weather forecast included here. Wish me luck.

FAIR GROUNDS: Rain possible. High 63.

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS: Mostly sunny. High 55.

HAWTHORNE: Cloudy with a high in the mid-30s.

PHILADELPHIA PARK: Rain likely. High 43.

I forget where I got that picture. It is a good one. I had it for my Avatar on another forum but this one said it was to big.

ANYWAY, just checked my picks. Houston has to run yet and PM was sloppy. 2 of the other 3 bombed out. Wouldnt ya know, I had a total of 10 picks. The 6 that I listed appeared to have a better edge so I only listed them.

Now I know your all going to boo me on this one, but, the 4 that I didn't include in todays post all came in winners.

Of the 6 I did list, I used 4 of them (no messy tracks). I did the place bet. If Houston comes in for me and pays $3.20 to show, I can at least break even on those listed here today. The other 4 of the 10 covered my butt nicely though. They got me a total of $12.40 for the place wagers.

I think a couple of my picks above may have only had 2 legs like the one on my picture. As it turned out, Houston did come in a winner but didn't quite cover me to break even. :bang:
