With the detectable speed bias, I will attempt to zig while at least 3 jocks will hopefully be zagging. Time to buck the bias at 7f, even though JOHNNY EVES rode it home in the Malibu Stakes. Hoping to take advantage of a speed duel.

Of course, I could just opt for the only two rider's whose names end in with the letter "O," Delgadillo and Bejarano. That analysis has about as good a chance......

There was a thread awhile back on 7f races--someone said his favorite play was horses shortening up from a mile who showed early speed...said that one of the great 7f specialists was Aldebaran and the 6f time in his 7f races was always run in less than 1:10....I can't get that out of my head--who in this race has won a 7f race with a 6f time of less than 1:10? Only #14 Unspoken Word. She did it on turf--not sure how that relates...I know I'm being awfully cursory with the other horses but I'm stuck here...

I was leaning towards the #10, Sindy With an S, but she has only been longer than 6f twice, and finished 1 and 3. Can she go 7f? Then I looked at the #14...outside post? Surely has the speed to get inside, but looking at the only two races she has had starting from the #8 & 9, got a 2nd and 4th. Then there is Hollendorfer....scary. Ashleys Kitty could do it, but I think the speed of this field will not be to her advantage. Then there is Gomez on the #5. Anytime GG gets a mount, I have to take a loooong, hard look at it, just because it IS GG. Works are very impressive, especially the 6f times. I could go on and on, but I think I should have gone with the alphabet connections. But who knows? GOOD LUCK TO ALL......THIS SHOULD BE A WIDE OPEN AFFAIR.....
