My job takes me from San Diego to Yuma Arizona for Jan and Feb 08. Does anybody know of an OTB (or Casino) that offers live wagering within 25 miles of the USMC base? I'm willing to spill a few beers, tell a few lies, and provide lessons on how-not-to-handicap with any of our southwestern Arizona PA brethren.

I believe the old Tucson Greyhound Park has off-track betting available.

My error; I meant to say the old Yuma Greyhound Park, not the Tucson one.

there also used to be an OTB on the Mexican side of the border, at Algodones.

Take I-8 back towards San Diego, about 3-4 miles across the CA state line,
then about 1 mile south at the Algodones exit. Park on the US side and walk across the border. Its about 50 yards down the street, on the left hand side.

ask before you go. haven't been there in about 5 years.

they also had sports betting.
