Thanks Mack. First Hawaii for a week to chill. Then we'll see. Depends on my bankroll.

Good: Lay low and chase around my girlfriend.

Not Good: Chase around trainers with a condition book in my hand.

Not rootin' for anyone except maybe me not to screw up the last Grade 1 of the season.:)

Happy Holidays!!

Why you old goat you. I've grown to adopt Kaui as my fav, though somehow I suspect Maui is your terminus. If that be the case, sign an 8x10 glossy and give it to Longhi's to hang and as us folk visit we can either say "Hey look, there's VJ" or "Who the is hell is that?", depending on ones persuasion.

Booking has to be a grind, particularly in an off/on scenario.

I have every confidence that you'll catch your gf as proximity is on your side.

Be well. When you're in HI, think not of any yesterday or tomorrow. Just live a great week.

One thing I always knew. You were always a student of the game and have a ball doing so.

Q: Who was the caller before Georgeff @ AP?

My wife and I spotted you in front of caesers palace last year.

to talk to you obviously on vacation?????????????

Absolutely not. It would have been our pleasure.

I'm just a full of crap horse player like the rest of us.

Sorry we didn't meet. Hopefully another time.

Merry Christmas:)

2nd that. Just didn't seem as good last time, and one of my favorite meets over the winter. A guess a caller has a lot to do with enjoying the races moreso than I had thought, mis'ya @ GP Vic.

Indeed. Sorely, sorely missed as much now, as when first learned.

My choice for winter racing still, but so very much has changed. And that's a shame. If only we could turn back time . . . to the Gulfstream that was.

Seasons Greetings to you Vic,Too bad you arent calling the races at GP :(

I wasn't here last year to post, and certainly, not to bash.
Missed him then; will miss him again.

I agree 100%. I had just got into the industry ( small time owner ) I had dreamed of having horses race at Gulfstream park, and I was excited for Vic Stauffer to call my horses races over at gulfstream, only to find out he was no longer calling races there ( not by choice )
And to top all of that off, my first winner was my first horse who every ran at gulfstream.
