I saw Overextended race 15 days ago in Delta Jackpot. He got caught wide and finished 5th, less than 3 lengths from winners. Overextended did not seem to handle Delta Downs surface too well. Return to SoCal should aid his effort today. Also, he gets jockey upgrade from PVal to Martin Garcia. Garcia should get him engaged in race early and improve Overextended's chances for victory.

Last race, same distance, the #1 hit the wire in 141.3, winning by 1 3/4 lengths. Colonel John, same distance, won @ 142.4. Old Man Buck....145.4.
Outside post win % scares me from the 10, so I went with the 1, hoping he will be a ble to keep up with the class jump...looks like he has the speed and works look impressive (But the works for MOST ALL look impresssive).

A sidenote... an accomplished horseplaying buddy of mine has advised me to checkout the "guarenteed 2008 Kentucky Derby Winner today" ... he says it is the 8 Colonel John.

Wow, what a race this shapes up to be. 10 horses within 6.2 Prime Power points of each other. Anybody could win and the prices could be nice!

I will be interested to see what kind of price we get on the 1 Sierra Sunset... pretty sure it will not be 20-1, but I hope so!

Careful with Massive Drama won last with a perfect trip just defeating a closing Into Mischief. Into Mischief had the tougher trip and most likely will have a tough time today in this field.

I did not get a chance to watch this race and I check the results and of course my alt wins! I was going to post this morning that I have only hit 3 winners and I think 11 of my alts won!!! I was frustrated again yesterday when we could pick 2 horses and still only placed! I decided not to whine feeling pretty confident today. And what happens????!!!!!!!!! I guess a bunch of us are in similar boats. I am enjoying this contest though (should be renamed Twilight Zone contest).
