Yes, this is an excellent source. Just remember that they only provide results if they carried that specific track on the specified date.

Hi,
I'm a Aussie trying to get myself wised up on US racing.
Can anyone direct me to a web site or perhaps a member who has a database of results for US racing. I ideally would something in csv or excel format that contains; Win Odds-distance-class-field or field size-track condition-date-prizemoney etc....
Fairly standard info, I have checked out Racing Channel, DFR and SportsVL but none suit or only one meeting download options. Just need 3-4years of results from all available tracks in US.
Happy to pay someone if you already have file of results ready to go.

Good to know. Wish the DRF & Equibase posted results for a longer period of time.

Although Daily Racing Form doesn't have a data base of very old races, they do have a warehouse full of the print ones. You can check access by contacting Mike Beer at DRF:email is mbeer@drf.com

londolozi,
Here are a couple data services:
http://www.brisnet.com/php/archive_first.php. - Look in their library under "data file structures" about 3/4 the way down the page for data formats ... http://www.bris.com/cgi-bin/static.cgi?page=library
The second is a sister company with very similar products:

Thanks for your help. Brisnet looks to be the one for my needs.

Another source might be the local newspapers. Some have archives online, and there are some pay-services that have archives of newspapers.
