Pemaquid Light-ran 3rd to one of my top horses 11-9 at the Meadowlands (wisp came back in a 1x in NY on 12-1 to get beat at the wire by a 500k horse) a very strong field that night faces much weaker here today.

Mister white socks(alt) and this is my exacta also. Last one out woke up this horse combined with my top choice it is a two horse race.

Ok, if I read the pp's correctly, although #1 Pemaquid Light has great trainer and jockey stats, he's on the rail and for the last week the rail has been a bad place to be...#7 Mister White Socks has good trainer and jockey stats, out from the rail, and has better speed figs...I figure it's between those two with # 5 Daareb stirring the pot (we'll throw out that last one-he doesn't like the turf) The other #1A horse, Powder House Road also has a lot going for him and he has the better post (outside I assume?) # 6 Real Galaxy showed early speed and is now stretching out with a presently hot jock and trainer-- Ok so I've narrowed it down to 5 contenders :confused: well, let's go for a price--

Just thought I would let you know that on the Bris Ultimate PP's with Comments that we are using, the post position is indicated just to the right of the horses saddle cloth number. The 1 Permaquid Light will be breaking from post position 9. This is indicated by "pp9". 1A Powder House Road will be breaking from post position 11.

For the meet overall post position 1 appears to be average to slightly below over 104 races (post positions 2 and 3 appear to have performed best at 17%). For the week pp1 has produced 0 winners in 9 races at this distance while posts 2 and 3 seem to be in the 16-17% range again. Post positions 8 and beyond have been HOT this week winning at a 22% clip but are at a somewhat below average 10% for the meet.

Did anyone else notice the BIG show payoffs yesterday?
They were bigger than the place payoffs, which tells me one thing.
Some poor sucker laid a big pile of dough on 6 Mamba to place to get the 'guaranteed' $2.10 show payout.
Low and behold, 6 wasn't in the money.
Which just goes to show what we knew already: There are no sure things in horseracing.

For those of you that read this good job picking this winner out of an ok bunch. No other horse in this race other then Mr whitesox was a real threat to the winner, and if mr whitesox was that good he would of been running at Aqueduct for a 56k purse!
