The maiden 5k is a bunch that has a lot of longshot winners. Good luck with this one the next time he runs.

Ran at TP, lost 11 lengths in the last 2f in the rain. According to Pedigreequery.com. his daddy was (Rich Cream) is a Holywood sprint record holder. Looks like they tried him in last at 1 mile then cut back to 6f.
I like High brite horses, but I think some do well (win or ITM) and some do not.
I'm curious why he did not run his 1st race until Oct of his 4 yr old season.
His pattern today fits perfectly with some theories on pressors who faded in last being good bets next out!

Since they have started the TP meet most of the 5k maiden races have been won by favorites or 2nd choice horses. Even the maiden 7.5k have been very formful.

I watched one or two of these races and the prices were double digits, I'm sure if you look at all of the ones run thus far the favorite probably wins about 33% of the time.

I just realized that it's not TP (Turfway Park). You guys were talking about (Tup) Turf Paradise.

There were no races that day at Turfway.
Trainer Hopkins used to train for the No Ca fairs as leading trainer, so he knows how to get then ready on short notice!
Rich Cream is Grandsire!
