I would prefer not to research each one, I am trying to narrow the apparently lengthy list of account wagering services, by getting the opinions of members with experience.

I have a California address, but I would like to be able to bet when I'm out of state. I would even consider getting an address anywhere.

My preferences:

1. Bet as close to off time as possible.
2. No surcharges-preferably rebates.
3. What else should I consider?

Thank you, Ron

Hi Ron...

I use a couple of different ones myself...

www.betehorse.com
offers rebates and takes wagers just about until the gate opens...

www.viphorses.com
no rebates... Cuts the betting off at about 4 mins to post... I do love the way their system operates though.

I've used a few others over the years.

i.e. youbet, phonebet, 5dimes, aloha casino, and a few others.

I do know a couple of people that use "one click betting" (racing channel) and say that they like it...

I hope that helps some...

I am a fan of Youbet. I use the online, very happy with the service and video on all their tracks.

The tracks available and when the "windows" open are two issues I've found important. Some services open all or most windows when they open. Some open each track based on the first post at that track.
