In the absence of any further instructions from Betsall or Rookie@58 I would say let's just keep firing away under this thread.

I would be willing to "chip in" with the helping on the scoring updates going forward but will not be able to do so until late Sunday or Monday. If no one else updates scoring before then, I will attempt to catch this contest up at that point.

I don't know what is going on either with Betsall, but I did see where PA gave him a stern warning about being close to being banned for TOS violation. He was last seen engaged in a conflict in the Off Topic forum. It was in a thread regarding the southern flag, I believe. So either, he decided he had had enough of this site, or perhaps he did not heed PA's warning and he got booted.

Too bad, as he was doing a fine job with these contests (primarily the daily Race Of The Day, though, IMHO). Oh well, just a reminder to the rest of us that posting on PA's site is a privilege, not a right, and we should all conduct ourselves accordingly or suffer the consequencies.

Well, at this point, I am going to cast my vote for allowing this contest to go by the wayside in Betsall's absence. While it was a little bit of fun, in my opinion it lacked the focus necessary to provide any real meaningful insights or learnings to those participating.

The scoring to date looks pretty messy and it doesn't really look like we have much interest from anyone in keeping it updated going forward, so it is probably not worth the effort to try to catch it up, IMHO.

The Race Of The Day Contest is focussed and a lot of fun, so I think we are better off just sticking with that one! Big Thanks to Rookie@58 for picking up the scoring on there!
