Well my first 20 are done. I have hit exactly 1 race!!!!!!!! :bang: Aunt Millie picking horses with the birthdates of her grandkids should hit at least 2 out of 20!!!! I will keep at it though. Congrats to those who are doing well!!!!

Primary: 6 ANZIYAN'S SONG (6-1)
Alternate: 2 ADD HEAT (5-1)

I do think that ADD HEAT is the horse to beat in this race and that SEMINOLE NATIVE could be the horse that does it, but that being said, I will go with ANZIYAN'S SONG with a ML of 6-1. The rail horse, DOUBLE GALORE, will probably be out setting the early pace with ANZIYAN'S SONG more fowardly placed today and will hopefully display a decent late turn of foot to get up for the win, holding off ADD HEAT and SEMINOLE NATIVE.

This is strictly a Prime Power value play. ANZIYAN'S SONG is making his 3rd out off the layoff, closed well in his last race which he started poorly, closed well and the winner came back to win, and he looks well placed here. Beccera actually has a positve ROI from his 15% hit rate with horses switching surfaces from the turf. You may need to stand on your head to share my perspective, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Freesgood -- sentimental pick on eve of Delta Jackpot. I saw Freesgood finish 5th in last year's edition of Jackpot. Maybe he will turn it around today.

Think the long shot of the day could be Double Galore. Early speed last out will make me include him in any exotics. I think he could be ready now.Speed (lone?), rail, and a 20-1 ML makes DOUBLE GALORE a certain longshot play. Myung Kwon Cho put this one across at 14-1 for his only win on the year. I usually dismiss his stock, but this one is dangerous here, and might be needed on your exotic wagers.

I see Political Maneuver as the speed but see D G right up there too. Your thoughts will make me bet 2.00 more on my bets. Just Kidding. Nice to hear that though. Let's hope.

The one's I am dismissing but scary for me are Air Commander because of the Graded race. Passing only because it didn't look that impressive, least not to me. Also Stormy Grant just cause he looks like a nice solid horse.

All those angles--turf to poly, early speed stretching out, better post position, and I love that "re-bid" in the comments -- but why aren't you betting the horse? If the odds stay where they are you'd make more across the board if this horse hit the place spot than if you go with the Favorite right? Just wondering.

Going to take a bit of a flyer today and go with a horse that is easy to overlook in this field. This improving 3 yr. old may be ready to run his best race today after having finished like a monster in his last two starts. He is well positioned today with an inside post. He should get a decent ground saving trip and have plenty in the tank for the stretch run. I am also hoping to get an overlay price on this 4-1 ML Julio Canani trainee... Is 6-1 too much to ask? I would love 8-1... please!! (I can't believe I am trying to predict an overlay... :faint: )

How I see the race shaping up...

It looks like Political Maeuver and Double Galore will duel for the early lead. Anziyan's Song will also likely follow along with those but may have trouble getting good position through the turn. Air Commander with Bejarano will also be looking for position upfront and will have to use a lot of horse early from the outside to get it. Add Heat and Stormy Grant should be getting ground saving trips yet remain within striking distance of the leaders. I am hoping that Stormy Grant can outfinish Added Heat and run down the leader(s) in the stretch. Seminole Native will of course be a big threat late but as long as Stormy Grant is in front of him, I don't see Seminole Native running him down in the stretch.
