Interesting to see that they have an "ear plugs" listing. Standardbred races allow the driver to "pop the plugs", BUT, Tbreds arenot allowed to do this. If a horse races with ear plugs, they must stay in, from what i read. There was a case a couple of monthes ago of a Tbred stakes horse whose plugs were pulled during the race, as the video showed them dangling wildly in the stretch. I think a trainer caught this and objected, and the next time the horse ran, the plugs stayed in.

What is a visor?

i'd hazard a guess that it is blinkers or eye cups, or a plastic shield over the cups to protect the eyes from flying stuff.

A visor is a blinker with a small hole/slit on the side, so that the horse has enough of a peripheral view to see other horses coming up alongside it.
