This race looks like it's clearly going to be one of two horses...either # 4 Momentarily or # 7 Black Jack Blues. Black Jack seems just a tad less capable but he's switched to Dutrow--can't ignore that. His bullet workout says he's fit (even with those front bandages). These two are either going to be 1-2 or someone's going to fade to third. #2 Marq Of Love just missed at the distance last, with some trouble, but the trainer and jockey stats for wins is bothersome..not for ITM though...gonna play a chalky tri on this one...

First you publicly propose to 3 yr. old gelding, then you have the audacity to suggest that the 4 and the 7 may be a little "different". :lol:
Ok, rapidly and I do mean rapidly moving along...

This race looks like a GOOD ONE! ML fav the 4 Momentarily looks pretty good. Yikes, purchased for $550k, not that good! :lol: I am going to play a bit of a hunch here that a say that the early pace is going to be a little quick for his liking today and keep shopping for my winner elsewhere.

I look for the 1 Spirit Warrior (ML 6-1) and the 7 Black Jack Blues (ML 7-2) to force a quick early pace then wilt just enough in deep stretch. I think this may set things up for 2 Marq of Love (ML 3-1), and the 5 Money Destroyer (ML 6-1). Unfortunately, none of these horses has been assigned an above average jockey for this race which might give me a little more confidence in them.

While a decent value case can be made for the 1 and 5, I am going to invest my mythical $2 WPS in the 2 Marq of Love. He just missed by a neck last time out at this distance and with Flores (serviceable but not great) back in the saddle I am hoping he will be able to better time his run to the finish.
