View Full Version : My Dilemma (Mile Harness, Online Wagering, etc)

Ok, went over this once before but for those who missed here's a rundown.
-I grew up wagering at Balmoral while simultaneously playing Meadowlands.
-I moved a few months ago to an area over an hr from nearest OTB/track.
-I'm now limited to online wagering for 95% of the time.
-Currently use winticket, but doesn't have Meadowlands/Balmoral
-Have a grudge against 1/2 mile + 5/8 mile tracks.
-I still reside in IL.
-PTC, TVG, ibetmohegan are all unavailble in Illinois.

With winter here, my mile harness options have plummeted. I used to bet Red Mile and enjoyed it, as long as some Indiana harness. Both are now gone for quite a long time and I'm left with Woodbine (which I don't like for some reason).

Anyways, to make a long story short, I'm looking for:
-Online wagering for Balmoral and/or Meadowlands ALLOWED in IL
-Site must allow IL residents to sign up and wager on either

Just need one. I'm losing entirely too much money trying to bet 1/2 mile harness tracks and thorough's.

Think I'm going to try datatthetrack.com
They offer wagering on Meadowlands so I'll be happy
Not to mention a $200 matched sign-up bonus

try phonebet.com

Any specific reason for phonebet > datatthetrack?

I see it offers balmoral, but looks like it lacks
PP's
Live Video
Internet Wagering (phone only)
Sign-up Bonus

Correct me if I'm wrong though?

You're wrong :-)

THey offer live video for every track and free online wagering.

They don't have signup bonus.

I've been using Dayatthetrack so I can bet Chester, which hardly anyone takes for some strange reason, works well.

winticket (now twinspires) takes chester I believe.

I'd like to try dayatthetrack just because of the bonus.
Have you tried betting Meadowlands on it yet? I've heard sometimes the site has listed tracks that you can't wager on  Maybe it was awhile ago, just wanted to make sure because Meadowlands (and the bonus) are my only points in choosing datt.
