I think he's the best pick, but something tells me it will go to Holliday because the Rockies were the darlings this year given their finish. He got a HUGE boost from Coors Field.

Wow I agree with you 100%.. Holliday had 11 homeruns on the road..

Rollins might get screwed b/c writers seem to like homerun and RBI totals..

Game 162, clutch hit to tie the game, incredible slide to win it.

Rollins and him were in a head bob till that. Holliday in a well deserved photo!

Simple stats

Rollins at home 300 average, on the road 293.

Holliday at home 376, on the road 301.

Hard to give it to the singles hitter when the power hitter out hit home and away.

Perhaps this year Utley stays healthy, Howard repeats his dominance, and the Phils find some starting pitching. Then if Rollins is "da man" again he should get it.

Or more intelligent stats:

Holliday - 162 games away = .301, 22 hr, 110 rbi

thank you coors..

What is your point exactly? You know how to put someone on your ignore list? Very good little boy, very good. Go get a lollipop for yourself.

Just like last year with Maher, I don't see how you're mvp of the league when you have 2 other candidates on your own team.

Well Howard won it last year with Utley as an MVP Candidate.

Sure they take votes away from each other, but it shouldn't take away from the incredible year Rollins had. Probably the best all around year for a leadoff hitter every. Not to mention the best defensive shortstop on the planet.

16 first place votes to 11 for Holliday!

Howard and Utley were both in the top 10 as well!

For those who watched the Phils this year (I saw 90%+ of their games) this is very well deserved.

Hopefully they pick up some pitching and go to the Series this year!

Congrats J-ROLL!

well, good for him.

sometimes, the way they pick the MVP, distorts outcome.

i dont think they include the whole regular season.
