I have many friends working in the VA system and they see this all the time. Paperwork & red tape being more rational than the medical need staring them in the face.

Ok now I'm REALLY pis-ed off!!!:mad: What @^%&(*&*&$ as-hole would ever dream of denying an American vet his or her money money which they have earned by defending our freedoms? I'm betting it is the same group of &*$#@*&*@ that gladly gives out welfare checks to druggies/alkis who burn, starve, neglect the very children who gets them eligible for those checks which are more than likely used for more drugs/alcohol.

Were these brothers and sisters in uniform of ours injured in a barroom brawl? Did they get these injuries while robbing a liquor store? NO. They got the injuries from voluntarily raising their then perfect hands and swearing [or affirming] that they would protect our freedoms.

Take the children from the druggies/alkies, put the druggies/alkies in rehab, force them to become assets to our world and put their welfare free-ride to good use and give our troops the honor and money that is due to them....

Socialism....what a laugh. When civilized people live in close proximity, they do so based upon a common set of values called laws. You don't have to follow them, but society has established processes if you don't. Same with taxes, vaccinations, driving a car, standards of medical practice....etc. WITHOUT a common cause, society would fall apart. It is already there and has been for hundreds of years.

Why does your company (if it does) offer health insurance? because enough people got together and agree to the SAME procedures (co-operated) to keep the premiums lower.

Lefty would make a new term for it and add "dems" somehow, but it has been around for a very long time.

It socialism for the rich and capitalism for everyone else. This is more then incompetence, from reading the article there should be an invsetigation to see if this is a dilberate action to deny as many Vets and possilble their "full" benefits. Lets face it they just got caught because it was a server wound what if it were lose of hearing etc. "you only 20% because you can hear, a gun shot." This is dispite the fact that your doctor says you are totally disable.

Sadly, it is and always has been deliberate.
It is policy and the people who rate/review the cases are generally rewarded for screwing over the Vet.
