I have a good friend who sends in periodic reports to the national health database which has shared files with Atlanta's CDC, and he told me an astounding statistic: PER CAPITA, the
highest rate of new AIDS cases are in heterosexuals over 50.
The reasoning is that they don't need birth control, so why
should they have to use protection? Dumb.

always gets too me, when the word "Rate" is used.

sure, if the rate was very very very low (like one person) and then 2 people get it, bingo, big timer increase.

people living longer, new generation of 50 year olds, plus so many people giving it the old Clinton try (last stand).

people use to stay married longer.
also, birth control pills should be considered...

50 year olds that don't date frequently might not be expecting a chance at sex, getting caught unprepared when they finally do get the chance.

Oh, that reminds me. Been since before GW took office, but since still want to be an optimst, guess I'd better add something to my list for the drug store trip. You never know, you know.
