hernia surgery yesterday I am in extreme pain

Vicodin does not seem to be working. How long is this bad pain', could not sleep, cant walk. any suggestions

If you just had single hernia surgery, while it is damn painful, shouldn't be that bad. When I had mine, a few yrs ago, it was extremely painful, but i didn't take anything as strong as vicoden and I was on my feet and did a little walking inthe house every day. I would consul the Doctor, pronto. Shouldn't be this bad, based on my experience.
