This is a good idea guys, but it doesn't work. The military will not deliver unadressed mail to soldiers, mainly to prevent random hate mail. Please see explanation and what you can do to help if so inclined here

The idea that Tom posted to send prepaid calling cards is still an excellent one, and, it is still valid and acceptable. The mailing address is slightly different from what socalfan posted. Please see the correct information at the very bottom of the page from the link above at the snopes.com site.

I guess we didn't consider the thought there are those out there who would send hate mail, but SIGH....I'm sure there is.
Your link does provide us with information on how to help and show support for these soldiers.
A little extra effort, but far better than spending that extra $20 on people at work or neighbors you don't even like!

my local wavy 10 has on site a point and click to sign on
to a space where messages can be left for our soldiers

they can log on where ever they are and see notes
from people all over

wavy is nbc so i guess its up on nbc site

and several others

i saw the story about the lady who sent tons of cards and
got them back

myself im near the hospitals and bases i can hand deliver
da luv,,,

complete with hugs;)

so thats what i will be doing

yall keep it up
they rely on the thoughts of others to keep them going
