The 1/9 favorite part of the entry ran first but was disqualified and placed 4th. OUCH!!! So maybe its not the bridges we need to keep an eye out for jumpers, but the stewards stand instead!! i didnt see the race so i dont know if it was a just dq, but would be curious to see.

Somebody, or a series of somebodies, bet $15,000 to show on the entry. I'm guessing that it came in late, since there don't appear to be the usual flurry of balancing bets on the other horses that usually occurs with a bridge jumper.

Part of the entry, Lexington Concord, won the race, although not convincingly. Unfortunately, he interfered with two horses in the process (not much question about it, either, at least with the fourth-place horse), and the stewards disqualifed him and placed him fourth. The other half of the entry finished last, although within a couple of lengths of what would have been the money.

A friend of mine had the winner - win and place!
He made a nice score, but talk about a pissed off player! He was still mumbling when I ran into him that night!

I always play the horse across the board, samething happened earlier in the summer at belmont in a NY bred race the favorite was 1-5 ran out of the money I had the 2nd choice at 4-1. 10.20 win 8.00 place and 24.00 to show.
