Most programs have an option which says save for the web which are small enough to post. Microsoft picture editor has that in Windows XP.

I think 30 knb is the max.
You can use the Edit>resize function.

They're both adorable but I still don't get it, have ADD or something.

I would like to go into Picasa, export the picture down to 200 pixels, is that the right amount, and then copy it and past it here. But if you could put in the step I'm missing...

See the button underneath the 'reply to thread' input box that says 'manage attachments.' It will show a button labeled browse. Use the browse button to find the reduced image on your PC then click upload. If your picture fits the size limits that Mike has established it will take a few seconds to actually tranfer the file to the PA web host then you're done. If your photograph is too large, a message to that effect is shown at the top of the page that has the browse/upload buttons.

it's not so much the pixels........but the file size.........it has to be under 40k if memory serves me right

DJofSD has it right....when composing a reply, scroll down a bit and find the "Manage Attachments" button, and you should be good to go....
