I loved Mahler due to the connections (they now how to win the big races) and the weight advantage he had....... remember he did not start from post 24 he drew the 6 barrier....... I thought the jock moved too soon with him but he gave me a heck of a thrill turning for home...... there is always 2008

I watched the race and completely agree that you had the best horse, he just tried to take it too early. I'm fortunate that I held off because I couldn't make good sense of that Aussie form, especially with that huge field. That was an extemely entertaining race to watch, though, and it is sure nice to see such a large and enthusiastic crowd at a horse race. What a party!
