It doesn't work passively or by itself. A life style change has to accompany it for any results.

Can't get into the flaxseed thing, so, I'll just eat salmon.

Salmon with butter and chili sauce, sauteed onions, oops thats for bluefish. How do you prepare salmon?

I'm sure Mack knows this, but for anyone else who doesn't, whole flax seeds aren't digestible..make sure you get the cracked or pulverized (or whatever) type. Otherwise they'll go right through you.

Yes,
It has likely removed rheumatic pain from my fingers.

Saw Palmetto and pumpkin seeds also work well for the waterworks.

I put in ground flax in my oatmeal when I eat it for Omega 6 but I think fish would be a better source for 3. I wish I could afford to eat enough salmon but I just take the caps.

only eat wild salmon, farm raised salmon is the devil.

Mix a up a little teriyaki type sauce: soy, scallions, ginger, a little rice wine, let that marinate for a few hours...soak a cedar plank in water simultaneously...throw the salmon on the plank, plank on the q....6 or 7 minutes...lay some thinly sliced lime on top and a sprinkle of cliantro to finish... you've got some nice eats

Excellent point and one I should have made in my reply.

Or, as my favorite TV chef would say 'Good Eats!'

Hey, grandpa, what's for sup?!

you know what I was eyeballing today at the butcher...prime rib roasts. $8.99 a lb, very nice looking. See what you do is buy the prime rib roast..and cut it into about 2" thick steaks. That is some primo rib eye action right there, not those weak rib eyes most butchers cut. We're talking 2" thick bone in cave man cut. On the grill for just a moment or two. Serve with a baked potato the size of your head, with a whole stick of butter in it.

I'd bad, I'm really really bad. I'll save that for this Sunday maybe.

p.s. forgot, I'll take an extra omega 3 pill too :jump:

Well, that makes me a cave man too then.

A coworker clued me into a local butcher that deals in products from Iowa Farms. (http://www.iowameatfarms.com/) If I wasn't preparing the first turkey for a pig-out this weekend, I'd be doing the Sunday roast beef dinner thing myself, CH!
