DRF reports today that Mr Biancone appeared at MTH during the BC
and was escorted out of the track based upon his suspension.

Amazing this guy has the guts to appear when he claimed he would
not disturb the BC day.

What does that have to do with ESPN? I didn't watch the coverage.

I thought he accepted his punishment and as with all trainers they may have no contact with the track or assistant trainers during a suspension. What was he thinking?:bang:

His cell phone wasn't working with all that weather...

Either another violation or he thought the allowing of him to be a "consultant" included making his own rules.
Always too lenient. trainers always suspect of giving the finger to racing.

I know he was there Thursday as he spoke to our clocker. Other than that, I personally have no first hand knowledge.

There is a difference between being "on track" and "on the backstretch".

Since Biancone transferred his training duties for the Breeders Cup horses, he had no legitimate reason to be on the backstretch.

Just like you or I were down at the barn area. We are not suspended but still would not be allowed there.

Now in the normal day to day operations, any Tom, Dick, or Patrick can get walked around just about every barn.

I also did not see any reports where he was escorted from the track. I did hear he was told to leave the barn area and left without incident.

You don't really need an "legitimate reason" to be on the backstretch. If you are with someone that is licensed you can sign in and go pretty much anywhere you want at most tracks. Since Biancone has a valid license (until 11/1 anyway), I'm sure security waved him right through.

Security in general is not real tough to get by on most backstretches, even for BC or TC races. I've whisked my wife through security at Pimlico more than once with just one press pass. And often was not even questioned who was with me other times when visiting horses in the a.m. during reg. traning hours.

Of course, I was not carrying a 6ft cobra.
