If you have a clock that adjusts for dst remember you will need to manually reset it. It will have backed up one hour due to dst have been changed a few weeks ago instead of the last sunday in oct which was the standard before this year.

This change was actually instigated more than two years ago.

All of my software has been updated to accommodate the move from the last Sunday in October to the first Sunday in November.

If you have pieces of equipment that have embedded firmware that can't be updated then you're right -- it'll need to be reset manually. I think the only thing I have is an older Sony D8 handicam that might need a little manual intervention.
