While I certainly thought he could win today, I still think he will be a poor investment. Do you really think caulks make that much difference? I find it hard to believe. You can probably count on one hand the number of horses that broke their maiden at 16k or below that have won a Graded Stake in the last 20 years.

Do you realize this horse, while winning by 4 lengths against filth, did so three lengths slower than bottom female claimers did in the previous race?
