I saw this on Ebay:
Ebay item (http://cgi.ebay.com/Lightning-Profits-V3-0-Premier-Handicapping-Software_W0QQitemZ200163099014QQihZ010QQcategoryZ429QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
The program screens and description of the functions of the software look a LOT like Steve Wolsons Powerline Software, which is no longer sold by Wolsons.
Am I missing something, or is this Wolson's software with a new opening screen? Would current users of the software confirm or debunk this?

Never mind. I've seen on the internet that Lightning Profit is Mel's (Steve's programmer) own version of Powerline.
Therefore, if Mel is the one selling it, it would be legit.

I just got feedback from Steve. The software is Mel's, so that part is legit; however the person selling it is NOT Mel, and the seller has admitted to selling multiple copies (and probably didn't buy multiple copies, or even one copy). I filed a complaint on Ebay, but that's about all that can be done.
Unfortunately there's a lot of pirating going on with e-Books and Software nowadays. If you have something you want to sell you have to be sure to always be monitering the internet using things like spyscape and watching what's on e-bay. Not sure how you get around it.

A simple report to eBay from the owner of the software will cause them to take it down.

I am not a computer program handicapper but with that said, I just took a look at Dave Schwartz's website for HSH and read the Tour sections and man, some of that information is very enlightening. they breakdown the info that everyone has and generate new information , new ways of looking at the old information that only they have....now thats insightful. I might have to redact a post i made in another thread, this might be one of the few software programs and philosophies that is doing something NEW in the handicapping field.
