7) VOWEL is the best bred horse in the DRF today, has been working super and should smoke these at a short price.

8) YOU GO WEST GIRL gets Leparoux and is strictly the one to beat but adding the entry and 'Kiss.

Rave Run: Her Majesty has failed miserably in both Grade I events but fits nicely here and her works say the layoff has done her well. JIBBOOM gets Robby and will be running late. Frankel realizes this race came up big time light and did not enter back in the allowance! West Coast Swing is unbeaten and could score with the right trip as she is tested for class and Exiting Justice who gets first run on the speed and must be caught. Four deep.

10) Kenny Mc does not want FIRE MAN in his barn and the usual path is to freshen one like that, put on a good rider and run him down your throat. Also Hoofin It and Hes Awesome. 8/178/2357/2312 BBB

While we were quite confident that we had put in a live ticket, that assessment vanished ten minutes prior to leg one! The Claiborne filly VOWEL was being held at three to one, and out ticket imploded before the race was run. Whatever caused this daughter of Dynaformer/Tell it to be off for ten months reared its ugly head again nearing the half mile pole and she will now head to the Paris nursery and probably be bred to Pulpit. This filly looked super going to the post but a more indepth analysis of her works should have indicated caution. Two three furlong August Keeneland works in some 37 and change were followed by NO September activity! Then a five panel move with the comment "finished with a flourish" then a rare solo gate move from Billy earning the bullet!! At any rate none of the others enticed and TIGHT STORM ($10.20) somehow won the photo giving former Baffert assistant John Good his first Keeneland win.

8) You Go West Girl ran to her odds (even money) and wore down 'Kiss.

RAVEN RUN JIBBOOM ($33.80) was entered twice and did not get in, then got Robby and found the softest Grade II ever run at this oval. Juddmonte homer from a terrific family had exploded all three career starts yet was somehow overlooked by most in a mutuel pool that exceeded a half a million. West Coast Swing was clear for the place and the Pletcher entrant chunked up for third. A hot pace going seven poles always bodes well for a deep closer and the roan Mizzen Mast filly came from thirteenth as Albarado continues to win stake after stake.

10) He's Awesome took the nightcap for his second win at the meet under a good ride by Jimmy Graham as a timely two to one favorite. 7yo also avoided a buying spree with four being taken! The sequence came back at some $780. for a half a buck again proving that the pick four is the best bet there is. Try again today if we can get some time. BBB
