Average Velocity

Been pondering about using the harmonic mean to caluclate average velocity, since it is three distinct fractions at three differing rates of speed.
This way, AP would be lower, and adjustments made from AP would also be smaller. Just wondering if anyone had been down this path and found it worthwhile?

This skews ratings to make middle/late movers look better. Much better a rating in ROUTES than sprints where speed to the 2nd call is much more predictive.

my experience says, when we dissect too much, we can find too much time on our hands.

and the "kiss method" should apply.
