I love Silmaril and have followed her career for the last couple years. (2nd race). Of course she is 3-5 and deservedly so. If you want an alternative, For Kisses looks nice at a 6-1 ML for an upset bid.

In the 4th PAYING OFF is improving and might be able to upset Moon Catcher.

She ran her last race yesterday and finished a winner, retiring at age 7 to be a mommie. I'll miss cheering for her, but at least I got to for so long. Will be looking for her babies.

It was a pleasure to be railside watching Simi close less than a furlong from the Laurel's wire! If Steve and Chris can't get the stallion they want for her, maybe she'll race a little longer.
One thing for sure- her foal will be schooled by a mare that loved racing.
