Does anyone know of a good version of an IPOD (or something along those lines that can play CD’s and / or MP3’s) that can withstand the shock of jogging with it?

I’ve heard it’s not a good idea to jog with an IPOD, so if anyone knows of something more “shock-absorbent” it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

anything with flash based memory is fine for jogging, etc. It's the Hard drive based units that don't like to be jostled. Any of the small units with 2,4,8 GB memory will be fine, it's the 30GB and 80GB (bigger) units that have the hard drives.

“Flashed based memory”

Dan,
My wife purchased a Samsung to Jog with - Chick is write-Flash only. So far using an after purchase wrist/belt strap protector pouch - it has been excellent - Key feature - small unit but screen size is amazing. I'm not schilling for Samsung but check out the spec's here:
