I have a BRISNET account,

will I be able to bet it,

I can't bet MTH or MED on there.

What about the other ADW places,

If Breeders Cup can't level the playing field,
who can.

You'll be able to bet it if you have a BrisBet account (not BrisNet, as you stated above) ... the Breeders' Cup isn't subject to the TVG exclusives as Monmouth normally is.

Essentially, for lack of a better explaination, the Breeders' Cup "leases" the venue for the event, so it's really their show ... hence, no exclusives ... :)

In a stunner YouBet may not get the BC signal

Revised article in thoroughbredtimes.com quotes Lonny Powell of Youbet stating they expect to get the BC after all. It appears to be a CA issue with paying a higher host fee than 3.5%. BC usually charges 9% or so and this leaves YB short 1% or so since they only get to pay a host fee of 3.5% plus receive an ADW fee of 4.5%. They would lose 1% on each wager on the BC unless the CHRB lifts that limit on host fees. Apparently, per Powell, that happened. Hard to believe the BC would not be available to all licensed ADW's, but it is whacky right now.

Come to think of it, I think YB will lose 1% on each BC wager made by a CA resident as I read it. I think the CHRB lifted the rule on the maximum host fee that an ADW can pay, but it does not state that Youbet will receive a higher host fee compensation from the state. Presumably TVG and Xpressbet are in roughly the same situation with CA residents. Go figure.

But they'll make up for it with volume! :D

I can't confirm this, but I have very good information that YouBet, while losing the BC signal, has gained the exclusive rights to the Narnia mile-70 for unicorns 3 and up to be run over soft clouds

Would post in greater detail, but I have to cancel my short order.
