caroline st?!!! That's a pretty high rent district. A few blocks from the main entrance to the track..How is it that a person of obvious small means can afford to live in that neighborhood.
Now to the point. Put this creep away and toss the key.

"It's amazing the people who come out of the woodwork who have dealt with this in their own family," Dorothy said.
It would probably be fair to say that the majority of families in America have at least one member with a substance abuse problem. Why the authorities insist on criminalizing a medical condition is beyond me.

First of all, I do not condone criminal activity in any way, shape, or form.
I should not have made that statement with no context or further explanation. Nor do I think anything discussed here will resolve the problem of substance abuse.
What I was getting at, is that someone who reaches such a level of depravity didn't get there overnight. It's possible that the proper (whatever that is) intervention in the early stages, when the only crime was possession, could have a beneficial result on the abuse problem. Instead, incarceration seems to have taken priority over treatment.
For some, it might be a lifestyle choice, but for many others they just got involved with something much more powerful than they were.

I know a person can become so demoralized and in pain they have to have a drug. But why they don't get leg psychiatric drugs and go to street drugs is what I don't understand. Except that their pain and disgust and boredom is so much....don't understand her stupidity.
My point was, if you can't control/help yourself, then you have no business pretending you can do it for children. Kids deserve far better than this slut has to offer them.
