Some of the comments below your article were quite good. Did you read them?

What's truly tragic is citizens expectations of govt.
Modern day socialist America where govt. babysits us all.

Who needs responsible parents. We are born, grow old and until death govt. determines our fates. Not so long ago, children took care of elderly parents. Now elderly folks are a burden. We have lost our way.

Perhaps Islam is correct. We are a morally sick society.
There is NO crisis in capitalism. There IS a crises of decency.
