This 1/2 to Vindication might be one to watch down the road.

I saw it. i had the horse on top and was cursing the ride. once freed from the cover the horse was full of run.

No argument the horse got stopped; it happens. Calvin had never been on the colt who is a difficult ride anyway and it was his first try around two bends.

Still the top two were dominant both on the paper and on the track. Texas Fever came unglued in the paddock, was four or five wide the entire trip and had trouble changing leads. He is out of a three quarter sister to Fu Peg and came in off an exceptional race while well in hand.

Chitoz won his last by a pole while getting blinkers from the one hole on a sealed sloppy surface. Two year olds seldom can do that. BBB

I would have liked to have seen the outcome if Blackberry had a clean trip.

We'll see what happens from here on out with the top three finishers.

Looking at the clock, it wasn't much of a race even considering these are lightly raced 2yos.

Real lightly raced Craig with the top two finishers just coming off their mdn wins.

With clear sailing Blackberry would have stopped the clock a bit sooner. :)
