Just looking at the DRF race of the week PPs and notice that all the horses are carrying 124 pounds. Checked the entries and the 3YO is carrying 121. Is it now a weight-for-age event despite the fact it is called the Goodwood H. in both places?

Yes, it's weight for age. Listed in race conditions

Yes, it's weight for age. Listed in race conditionsI noticed that, but Tiago's weight was wrong, so I thought I'd ask. So much for truth in advertising. Appreciate the input.

I'm leaning toward Tiago here. Arson Squad didn't like poly at DMR, but he sizzled 7f in the morning at SA and loves 9 f too.

Tiago wouldn't be my first choice, but not impossible. Capper likes #3 Lewis Michael, but Capper is currently doing only so-so at SA. For some inexplicable reason I sort of want Lava Man to win. Anyway for me it's academic as my ADW doesn't carry SA. ;)

A.P. Xcellent in a shocker!!

Wanna Runner looks to give the above no chance.

Lewis Michael might just get the best trip in here. Hello Sunday, now he could be the surprise.

Pretty decent stretch duel brought to us by Tiago and Awesome Gem.

Pretty decent stretch duel brought to us by Tiago and Awesome Gem.Excellent race today... it shows that Cushion Track may be superior synthetic surface. Compares favorably with Hollywood Park.

Only other synthetic track that has my vote is Arlington Park. I don't know if it is track maintenance and/or climate but it played fairly to my dirt handicapping methods this summer.

The Goodwood also showed the the PC wasn't a complete fluke.

Any word on why lava man scratched?

He's racing next week in the mile turf race. The entry in the Goodwood was an afterthought

The Goodwood also showed the the PC wasn't a complete fluke. The HAW Gold Cup didn't hurt either.

Between Hard Spun's victory at TP and Grasshopper's loss at LAD, the Travers is sure taking a hit, though.

Curlin's and Tiago's victories may auger a 3YO's winning this year's BC Classic.
